Tess Garrity has come to the Ruidoso Mountains of New Mexico for a vacation. She should be happy to be alone and finally be able to relax, but she can’t. She is a forty-five and widow who is so down in the dumps. Her marriage was a sweet one and she has a lovely daughter, but Tess wants something more. Tess may have found that “something more” in the form of her younger and handsome neighbor.

Daniel Rios is a decade younger than Tess but finds her to be very attractive. One night, he finds her crying outside and comforts her. One thing leads to another and Daniel gives Tess the best sex she has ever had. Tess wants more but this is just a vacation fling from Daniel, or so she thinks. But Daniel wants more than just a fling with this lovely older woman who sets his body on fire. Tess has a decision to make between her old life back at home or start a new one with Daniel who is only a few years old than her own daughter.

Tempting Tess was quite a tempting read! I am a sucker for older women and the younger men who adore them and Regina Carlysle has written the near perfect romance to showcase this. The passion between Daniel and Tess was so good and Daniel is an incredibly written hero. It was a joy to watch Tess fall for a man who can give her so much in life even though she has some reservations about their relationship.

I also found Tempting Tess to be a very realistic read from the way Tess thinks things through and her decision about her feelings for Daniel. For a fast and sexy romance with two great characters, I recommend Tempting Tess!

Tess Garrity was feeling an all time low. She was forty-five years old and tired of her non-existing way of life that she had been living since her husband’s death two years ago. She desperately needed a change. So, Tess decided to take a vacation in the Ruidoso Mountains of New Mexico seeking an alternative to her current situation. But, Tess never expected her handsome and much younger cabin neighbor to be the one to help her overcome her loneliness.

Although Daniel Rios was ten years Tess Garrity’s junior, that didn’t hinder his attraction to her nor his desire to have her in his bed. But first Daniel needed to convince Tess to take a leap of faith and take a chance on building something together. So, Daniel set out to temp Tess until the point of no return. Will Daniel succeed or will Tess walk away leaving them both hurt and very unsatisfied?

Tempting Tess was one sizzling hot romance! From Tess and Daniel’s first lustful encounter until their very last, I was squirming around in my seat with heated desire. I simply fell in love with Daniel from his first introduction and found myself cheering him on as he tried to win over Tess’ heart. And boy did she put up a fight. Daniel was determined to prove to Tess that their age difference shouldn’t stand between them and that he was ALL the man that she needed. Regina Carlysle has written a wonderful story about passion and the lesson that love has no boundaries especially when it comes to an older woman/younger man situation.

Daniels Rios reaches out to the beautiful woman. It breaks his heart to hear her cry. Offering comfort, he is also fascinated by the sexy, sweet, and sensual woman who's staying in his cabin. A night of passion brings a sense of coming home to Daniel. To Tess, it's a chance to let her wild imp fly free. With kisses, caresses, and sexual desire, Daniel has to tempt Tess to take a walk on the wild side with him forever.
Tempting Tess is a lavish feast of love, passion, and adventure. Ms. Carlysle has created characters that are struggling with real issues. Tess is trying desperately to understand what she wants out of life. She knows how to be a wife and a mother but there has to be more. By grabbing onto the enchanting Daniel and all that he has to offer, Tess is finding the woman inside herself that has always been hidden. Daniel is a driving force with the need to show this wonderful woman that she is all that he has ever wanted. Their coming together is explosive. The wild monkey sex is done with enough descriptive detail that it is a highly erotic display of lust, adventure, and ultimately a deep abiding love. The reader will be captivated by the bond these two people have for each other.
Ms. Carlysle enchants the reader as well with the well rounded plot that comes full circle. At every changing event, the author spends time detailing each new scene making it very easy for the reader to imagine watching the story play out in front of their eyes, much like a television movie. The dialogue enriches the story and seems to compliment it. Bo, Daniel's golden retriever, and Julie, Tess's daughter help push the story and make great secondary characters.
This story grabs the reader from the first page and doesn't let go. A true delight!

She rents a cabin in the mountains in order to be alone to think. She doesn’t realize that Daniel Rios, the owner of her cabin as well as the one next door, is a sinfully handsome younger man that is about to turn her life upside down. Daniel is captivated by the stunning older woman. She is sweet, funny and sexy enough to make him want her more than his next breath. Daniel moves in on Tess, tempting her to take another chance on love with him. It's a naughty, edgy, seductive challenge he is fully prepared to take.

Tempting Tess grabbed me from the very first page and never let me go. Ms. Carlysle has taken erotic writing to a level. Her descriptive sex scenes left me gasping and so wet I knew I would never make it to the end without my toys. The plot embraced a lovely romance that was stirred up with hot sizzling sex. Both Tess and Daniel captured my heart. Daniel was not only the ideal handsome man, he was a skilled lover that I wanted to hold me. Tess certainly learned what it was like to be a woman sought after by a desirable man. The pace of the story was well developed and held my attention with no room for stopping until the end of the story. Ms. Carlysle is a master at creating an erotic story. I strongly recommend Tempting Tess to every reader that loves a strong erotic story with the right romantic ending.
